Camel is a four-plug that brings together the sound of two iconic British professional audio brands that have built their reputation as industry leaders through technical innovation and achievement. EQ in Opera The Camel EQ Model A is derived from a vintage British EQ/preamp with balanced mic/line inputs and Lundahl balanced transformers; adjustable high/low passes; plus -band parametric EQ. High and low shelf filters can be swapped for top and vice versa. Similarly, in the two middle bands (low and high), the Q must be changed from narrow to wide and vice versa. The Camel EQ Model B is based on a rare discrete component Class A console that was launched in 1973 by one of the UK’s most famous recording studios in the Soho area of  London and launched as a professional audio producer soon after. company This console spent its early life in London and played an important role in the recording of legendary albums such as Queen’s A Night at the Opera and David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs. With the invaluable help of producer and sound engineer Antonio Aki Chinamo (founder of the Italian recording studio Auditoria Records), we managed to get our hands on this beauty. We thoroughly tested its 16 line preamps, 16 mic preamps, the console’s stereo output preamp (included in the plugin’s custom preamp), and the entire EQ module, including its high-pass filter.
