Since 1975, many hit records have been recorded on this incredible audio equipment, including such treasures as Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Paul Simonin’s “Graceland,” as well as hit AC recordings. / DC, ABBA, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Genesis, etc. Honey 3 includes different plug-ins: a “house” version of the popular EQ (“classic”), a “vintage” version which is an exact copy of the same unit, a VCA compressor and a selection of units carefully selected by the channelists of the Acusica team. This is what’s in the suite. Classic tie This is our “in-house” version of the famous American equivalent that first appeared on the market in 1975. We first built the same hardware module from scratch and then carefully tested the process. The result is a high-quality plug-in with incredibly smooth highs, perfect for bringing out all the elements in your mix. (We encourage you to take advantage of the big stage of the preamp, which is an important part of the overall sound of this particular EQ.) Vintage tie We test original American-made drivers using new machine-based methods to ensure superior accuracy. With rich sounds, beautiful filters and a wide and smooth response, the Honey 3 Vintage EQ is the closest digital version of this equalizer to the software market. VCA compressor for instant gratification This VCA design provides faster envelope times than any other compressor of its type. They’re perfect for adding depth and cohesion to your tracks or mixtapes. Because it is based on feed-forward compression, it has more in common with modern designs than other older compressor plugins.
